About Us
DollieBabies Knits for Newborns specializes in our designer range of traditional and modern baby knitting patterns and reborn doll knitting patterns.
We also carry a small range of baby crochet patterns. Additionally, there are a couple of patterns for those who combine knit and crochet. All of our baby patterns are suitable for reborn collectable dolls too.
About our patterns
Our sizes range from very premature, while some go up to 9 months for babies. The smallest sizes use 4ply yarn for a less bulky fit for premature babies. Otherwise, bigger sizes use DK yarn.
We have just launched a new category for toddler and children knitting patterns. Starting from 1 year old, they go through to 7 years of age. All are worked in DK yarn and have individual instructions for each size.
With over 100 designer baby knitting patterns and still counting, we host a large selection to choose from.
For those who knit for charity, we have a few knitting patterns suitable for special baby care units. These are free to download from the Free Special Care Knitting Patterns category in the menu bar above. As time goes on, we will be adding more patterns. All of our patterns are written in English with UK terminology. They are easy to read and understand with row-by-row instructions. There is no guessing where to place buttonholes or how to place a stitch pattern within any shaping that is needed. As a result, this makes them suitable for all knitting and crocheting abilities. Independent knitters test all our patterns before release. We try to ensure we make every effort to keep them error-free.
